Join the Art Colony Association as it celebrated 47 years of fine art and giving back. Bayou City Art Festival Downtown will transform the streets of Downtown Houston into artistic avenues bursting with colors and culture. The weekend festival will provide guests with the opportunity to see and purchase unique, custom art under the iconic Houston skyline. Bayou City Art Festival Downtown will benefit local non-profits and feature live music in front of City Hall and throughout the festival along with entertainment, beverage stations, food trucks and much more for patrons to enjoy. In the Children’s Creative Zone, the festival’s non-profit partners will host art activities for all ages and include an interactive place to hang out.
This year’s featured artist is Chris Vance, a Mixed Media 2D artist from Bondurant, IA. Vance along with 300 artists from around the world representing 19 different disciplines will showcase their art at Bayou City Art Festival Downtown.
Nora’s Home, Houston’s haven for organ failure and transplant patients receiving care in the Texas Medical Center, is pleased to announce its 5th Annual Golf Classic, which will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 8 a.m. at the Hermann Park Golf Course. The event will benefit Nora’s Home facility and programs that provide care, education and support for transplant patients and their families. Sponsorship and team registration proceeds benefit the Adopt-A-Family fund which provides financial support for families who cannot afford to pay the minimal nightly fee.
Golfers are welcome to breakfast at the course followed by the scramble shotgun start at 9 a.m. Participants will compete for premium prizes and awards prior to a silent auction. Breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided for all teams. Nora’s Home welcomes all businesses and organizations to participate in the fun and sponsor the event.
Moz Parks is a Houston based Organization established after the founders had eye opening experience of the circumstances in communities and wildlife endangerment existing in Mozambique and from there on became an hands on, boots on the ground organization supporting Mozambique in their efforts to conserve the wildlife, protect the areas and engage with local communities.
Dental Professionals will provide dental services at no cost to local veterans in this one day event. We are accepting financial donations to support our efforts to serve veterans with free dental care. Please contact Ms. Smith for more information.
The Houston Concierge Association (HCA) is pleased to announce the 12th Annual Concierge Classic Golf Tournament, which will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. at the Wildcat Golf Club. Proceeds from the event will benefit The HCA Endowment Scholarship Fund for the UH Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management.
HCA welcomes guests to breakfast, courtesy of d’lish catering, followed by a shotgun start. All golfers will enjoy complimentary Bloody Mary’s, the use of the driving range and putting green before the shotgun start of the tournament. Participants will compete for top prizes and awards prior to raffle drawings, a live and silent auction. Lunch and refreshments will also be provided after the awards ceremony. HCA welcomes all businesses and organizations to participate and sponsor the event.

Champagne & Chocolat Scholarship Gala is a black-tie optional affair, filled with elegance, romance and philanthropy, featuring a champagne reception, epicurean dinner, silent & live auction, CanCan entertainment, live music, dancing and a dessert buffet of endless petit fours, cakes and chocolates.
Proceeds benefit the Gaston LeNôtre Scholarship Foundation, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that supports high quality education in the hospitality industry. Our mission is to provide tuition scholarships to deserving students, who aspire to a rewarding career in the culinary arts.
